Stepping into the quaint Pousada Miami on Ilha da Gigoia island was like entering a hidden gem in the bustling Barra da Tijuca. The staff were warm and accommodating, making our stay feel like a home away from home. The rooms, equipped with flat-screen TVs and minibars, offered a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the 'hidden' beaches nearby.We were delighted to find that the property provided a range of activities, including water sports and diving, perfect for the adventurous spirit. The outdoor pool offered a refreshing escape, while the on-site restaurant served up delectable Brazilian dishes that tickled our taste buds.The location's proximity to Praia da Barra da Tijuca beach and the easy access to the ferry at Avenida Armando Lombardi ensured that we could easily explore the surrounding area. The serene views of the mountains and lake from some rooms added a touch of tranquility to our stay.Pousada Miami delivered a unique Brazil experience, away from the hustle and bustle of Rio, perfect for those seeking a laid-back and safe retreat.
